The beer is cold, the dogs are hot, and the pinball still takes quarters.

We’re a beer and wine bar with a wall of vintage pinball machines, in Eagle Rock’s old Connors Plumbing building. The menu is short on purpose. 21 and over.

Open every day from noon

Sun–Thu  12 PM – 12 AM

Fri–Sat  12 PM – 2 AM

The corner of Walt's Bar at dusk: the green neon Connors Plumbing clock above hand-painted signs reading Pinball, Fine Wine and Hot Dogs, with a neon Open sign over the door

“If you want to drink beer, play pinball, enjoy some simple eats, and hangout, this is the place to be!”

The machines

About ten vintage machines from the sixties through the eighties, kept in playing shape and rotated so the lineup stays fresh. Games run on quarters, 25 to 50 cents a credit, and most are set to five balls. There’s a change machine and an ATM inside.

Pinball tournament every Wednesday at 8 PM. Five dollars to enter, everyone welcome. A women’s tournament night runs monthly too. The lineup and tournament news land on our Instagram.

Three lives of one corner

Connors Plumbing

The corner building went up as Connors Plumbing & Supply. Their green neon clock still crowns our marquee, and their name is still painted on the wall. We kept it all. It was too good to take down.

Vans, Store #14

For a stretch, this address sold sneakers: one of the earliest Vans stores in the country. Vans came back years later and threw a pop-up here with a shoe made for the occasion.

Walt’s

Our dad Walt taught us everything we know about drinking and fixing stuff, so when we opened this place we put his name on it. Machines we fix ourselves, beer we pour cold.
